The Cast – Childhood
Traits: Proud, Confident, Well-spoken
Flaws: Arrogant, Overconfident, Manipulative
Arthur is the royal heir to the throne of Camelot, and Morgana’s older brother. Being a crown prince, the boy has a tendency of expecting things to go his way. He takes very strongly after his father in terms of world views.
Morgana – Being his little sister, Morgana and Arthur naturally have a bit of sibling rivalry. They often mess with each other and are not above the odd jab or jest. Underneath it all, though, Arthur loves his sister dearly and is very protective of her.
Uther – Although Arthur isn’t much for responsibilities himself, he greatly looks up to his father. To rule an entire kingdom is a heavy crown to wear, and Arthur is very much aware of that.
Gawain – As Arthur has started to get to know Gawain better, his icy indifference has made way for genuine interest. He likes teasing the boy, but has also developed something almost akin to friendship.
Traits: Active, Bold, Naive
Flaws: Reckless, Hot-headed, Gullible
Gawain is a distant relative of the Pendragon royal family. His father having abandoned his title to marry a merchant, they now live in a simple home in Camelot. Gawain is a very active boy, always jumping at the first sign of excitement and the first one to throw a punch when he perceives something to be unjust. His greatest dream is to become a royal knight someday.
Arthur – The two have started to bond, and Gawain genuinely looks up to Arthur for being as skilled as he is. Arthur often messes with him, but Gawain does not mind.
Morgana – Gawain and Morgana are good friends. Though the Princess makes fun of him sometimes, Gawain knows that it’s mere teasing, and would not hesitate to come to her aid.
Traits: Bold, Selfless, Well-spoken
Flaws: Reckless, Self-sacrificing, Manipulative
Morgana is the youngest daughter of King Uther Pendragon, and the apple of his eye. She is a very kind person at heart, and cannot help but try to help out whenever she sees someone that needs it. However, her actions sometimes get her into more trouble than she intended.
Arthur – Being her big brother, Morgana and Arthur naturally have a bit of sibling rivalry. They often mess with each other and are not above the odd jab or jest. Underneath it all, though, Morgana loves her brother dearly.
Gawain – Morgana considers him a friend. She teases him about his dreams, but secretly roots for him to succeed and will not hesitate to help him where she can.
Merlin – Merlin and Morgana are childhood friends, despite the enormous difference in social standing. They did everything together from the moment they could both talk, and Morgana has trusted Merlin with some of her deepest secrets.
Uther – Morgana’s feelings regarding Uther are complicated. She loves her father, but is highly aware of his hatred for all things magic, and resents the series of events that led to Merlin fleeing the city.
Traits: Compassionate, Good, Naive, Sensitive
Merlin, being a sorcerer in a land where magic is outlawed, was forced to flee Camelot after the execution of his grandmother. He is a sensitive boy, who discovered his affinity for magic at a very young age. Knowing the price of practicing in public, his grandmother Millicent forbade the boy from using his powers when not under her supervision.
But, as children are, he eventually began to disobey those orders. The boy confided in Morgana, who warmly accepted him for who he was.
Morgana – Morgana and Merlin are childhood friends, despite the enormous difference in social standing. They did everything together from the moment they could both talk, and Merlin has trusted Morgana with some of his deepest secrets.
Traits: Self-assured, Well-spoken, Confident
Flaws: Argumentative, Manipulative, Overconfident
The King of Camelot and ruler of its people. His intense hatred of all things magic has caused him to start a crusade against druids, sorcerers and practitioners of the dark arts alike. Although Uther is known to be incredibly rigid, ruthless and unyielding, his softer side comes out around his children.
Arthur – Arthur is Uther’s firstbon son and heir to the throne of Camelot. As such, the King tries to be strict with him, teaching him the responsibilities of being a future king. This does not always succeed, however, as the boy is good at abusing Uther’s soft side.
Morgana – Uther openly dotes on Morgana, treating her with a kindness and leniency that even Arthur does not get. As she is his only daughter, Morgana is very precious to him.
Ygraine – Uther still mourns for his late wife, who has been taken from him at a young age. As far as the kingdom knows, he has no plans to ever remarry.
